911

This morning our neighbor's shed engulfed in flames caught my eye as I headed to the living room. I called 911 and the fire department came soon after. Gabbie and I scrambled to get our pets in a safe place and we both received honorable cat scratches on our faces. My adrenalin is still pumping.

Nippon Garden

Yesterday, Gabbie and I explored Portland's own Japanese Garden. Right now my good knee is hurting me and cannot go skiing for three weeks. So, I'm trying to keep busy.

Vancouver, BC

This weekend I flew to Canada to see my brother Hans. We spent Saturday exploring the city, Sunday we went skiing, and Monday was a solo city day for me as Hans had to work.

I love Vancouver because it feels like a European city and everyone speaks English. Plus, my brother has a nice flat in the Gas Town District which had a nice mixture of all kinds of people.

I also enjoyed just chilling with Hans. We like the same things and get along very easy. I can't wait to return.
