Myrdalsjökull, Vík, & Eyjafjallajökull
We drove SE again today. First, we passed by the infamous Eyjafjallajökull volcano that erupted a few years ago. I attached a satellite image of the eruption. Then, we headed to one of Iceland's glaciers, Myrdalsjökull where we were able to walk up close to but, decided not to venture any further in fear of falling in a crevice. Lastly, we drove to the town Vík and walked along the beach. Sadly, this is our last day. Tomorrow we head home in the early evening. However, before our flight we will stop by a well-known hot spring called the Blue Lagoon. It has been fun Iceland and we will miss you.
