We arrived early Sunday morning and easily found our rental apartment. Reykjavik is the quietest city I have ever been to and we slept soundly. Today, we walked around, did some shopping, and checked out a church. Later, we are going to check out the Saga Museum.
Things to note:
The macho cars here have the biggest tires I have ever seen on a street vehicle.
Showers are spa like because they smell like sulfur and the water comes directly from a geothermal hotspot.
The hand knit sweaters are super cool but super expensive.

ReplyDeleteI'm so proud of you girls, and jealous tooooo. It looks so cool there, quaint and picturesque. I saw the picture of Gab in her "arctic" coat and she looks warm. I hope you go visit the thermal baths and soak for awhile and buy one of those hand knitted sweaters. You girls deserve an extravagance once and awhile.
